Redmi Note 13 Series Design

In terms of design, the Redmi Note 13 series will herald a refreshing departure from its predecessor, the Redmi Note 12 lineup. While the new design won’t be an entire overhaul, it will retain some familiar elements. The Redmi Note 13 Pro, for instance, will maintain the beloved glass sandwich build with a flat frame. However, its camera island will draw inspiration from the Xiaomi 13 series, featuring protruding camera modules.

In contrast, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will bear a striking resemblance to the Redmi Note 12 Turbo in terms of camera placement. Yet, it will sport a curved display and a faux leather back for a distinctive touch. The Redmi Note 13 Yibo is expected to share similarities with this design, albeit with slight variations in color and pattern.

Redmi Note 13 Series Specifications

The Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus are set to dazzle consumers with their 1.5K OLED displays, marking a significant leap in display technology for the Redmi Note series. These devices will not only be the first Redmi Note to feature screens with resolutions surpassing FHD+, but they will also introduce in-screen fingerprint sensors to the series.

Moreover, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will claim yet another “first” with its curved display, boasting a remarkable 1800 nits peak brightness level, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and DC dimming. These advancements in display technology promise an unparalleled visual experience.

Redmi has also officially disclosed the processors that will power these phones. The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 will be the driving forces behind the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 13 Pro, respectively.

Both Pro models will feature a customized version of the 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition sensor, although only the Pro Plus variant will include Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

In the energy department, the Redmi Note 13 Pro will be equipped with a substantial 5,000mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will house an even larger 5,120mAh battery with the capability of 120W fast charging.

As for the Redmi Note 13 Yibo, it is expected to mirror the specs of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, given the lack of information regarding the former.

Redmi Note 13 Series Expected Price

When it comes to pricing, the Redmi Note 13 series is anticipated to start at around ¥1,200 (approximately $165) for the base model. The Pro and Pro Plus variants are expected to come in at higher price points, beginning at ¥1,700 (about $235) and ¥2,200 (roughly $300), respectively.

It’s worth noting that these price estimates are extrapolated from the launch pricing of the Redmi Note 12 series in 2022. Given the significant upgrades in the new-gen models, these figures may not fully reflect the final pricing. Xiaomi’s penchant for disruptive pricing strategies, especially in its home market of China, might result in the Redmi Note 13 series being competitively priced, possibly aligning closely with the previous generation or experiencing only modest price increases.

Stay tuned for the Redmi Note 13 series launch, as it promises to be an exciting moment in the world of smartphones, with innovations in design, display technology, and processing power that are sure to capture the attention of tech enthusiasts worldwide.
